Why now?

We’re confident that the enhancements on the State Affairs platform, which will soon be available to Gongwer subscribers, will significantly enhance Gongwer’s services and we can’t wait to share it with you. New features like full transcripts of committee hearings and full sessions, AI functionality, a Mobile App and Vote Roll Calls add immediate value to your subscription and equip you with even more information to support your efforts.

We picked this timing for several reasons:

• We’d like October - December to be a ramp up period for Gongwer subscribers to adopt and enjoy the new experience on State Affairs prior to session resuming next year.
• We’re aiming for as little interruption to your workflow as possible, and are offering an optional change in October, with a strong recommendation to move to State Affairs in mid-November.

Will my data transfer?

Yes. All tracked bills, keywords and reports will migrate automatically, as will 3 years of historical subscriber data. We have full intentions of providing all historical data for every customer in the near future, however to make this available and immediately useful, we are starting with the most recent years for all subscribers.

Of course, we are happy to accommodate special cases as needed.

What kind of training and support can I expect?

We plan to provide a significant amount of support every step of the way.

Here’s what you can expect:

• A robust learning center with written guides, short videos and recorded webinars available on-demand and tailored specifically to Gongwer subscribers
• 1:1 or 1:many support via the State Affairs Customer Support and Account Management teams by request via our support form
• A series of transition webinars available to attend live or uploaded and accessible at your convenience in our resource library
• This FAQ sheet. We are committed to updating this FAQ guide as the transition gets underway. We will proactively update the FAQ and address common incoming questions in our email communications should something be unclear.
• A series of email communications that will usher you through the transition period - look out for emails from our team through the month of October.
